thank you

Copeland is sleeping soundly in her bassinet and has been for almost an hour now... she's finally getting some of the alone time I think her little four-pound body desperately needed. Perhaps all the passing around really meant a bit of exhaustion for her! As for the pink cheeks and lips... your prayers are being felt here with deep gratitude. I stand in awe at a God who will use something as mindless and irritating as the internet can often be for His glory - to amplify His name above all the earth and remind us that if we will but call to Him, we can expect results. We are not always sure what they will look like, but we can be assured they'll come, some way or another. For now I am rejoicing in my daughter's sudden blush!

I think the next time I blush or see someone else blush, I'll think of Copeland and will have a deeper appreciation for it. :-)

We are praying for Copeland and your precious family. I am so, so glad that right now she is resting peacefully. She is beautiful and I stand in awe of your family right now. My heart is breaking for you and rejoicing all at the same time that you are having this time with her. I am praying.

Once again, God is so good in hearing his children's cry. You sound at peace and this is so good Boothe. This is one of the good things about the internet and I am thankful to be able to pray for your family. The "mother in me" hopes to not offend by mentioning that I pray each person that comes in contact with Copeland is well as her little immune system is so delicate and compromised at this time, and I am sure you have it covered so please forgive my concern. Sellers has LOVE written all over her as she feeds her baby.
What a blessing in the midst of a storm that God has his hand on. I am so proud of you and Conor and the faith that is so evidently growing between you this past week.
Praying for a glorious nights sleep for all of your family and that God keeps Copeland PINK! Keep doing what you are doing and He will bring you through with Joy.

I saw the pictures from Otter Creek School today and am so thankful that Sellers got to show off her little sister to her friends and teachers. She will ALWAYS be Copeland's big sister--what a special day for the two sisters to add to the other precious moments you have had together in this short week! Praise God for little blessings like this in the midst of trials.

God does answer prayers. I'm so glad though the day was hard, memories were made and it seems your making the most of the time you have. Thank you for the pictures. They bring this blog to life and are wonderful. We are praying. As always.

What wonderful news!! Ya'll are amazing parents, I am truly thrilled for you both. It's very difficult being at work and not being able to check the blog. My husband isn't used to me calling so much during the day. :) The nurses in the NICU ask about you daily and request that I pass along the fact that they are continually praying for your family. We'll pray for continued peace and less of those nasty blue spells. Copeland is so strong and so brave, stronger and braver than people 30 times her size. What a blessing...Praise God!

Praise the Lord!!! praise Him for rosy cheeks! i pray, that as you all enter into this evening, that Christ will send His angels to surround each one of you...that they will protect you all from any harm that may be sent by the evil one. i pray that you and Conor would continue to be knit tightly together, SO tightly that there is NO room for Satan to come between you. i pray that the Lord will carry sweet Copeland through the night with deep and continued breaths, free from any struggle. and i pray for precious Sellers, that He might continue to use her to bring joy in moments that seem so joy-less. you are all such a HUGE blessing, words are inadequate. thank you for touching our lives in a way that makes us forever changed. we love you guys...N.T. and D

I am so proud of you for giving her breastmilk (if that's what her sister is feeding her). I remember you said you were going to try to pump. You are a wonderful mom.

Boothe and Family-
I am so happy to hear that Copeland is prospering as best as she can. Those little rosy cheeks are showing you all that you are taking care of her in the right ways. She is alive by the grace of God, but also because of your love and determination.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

Like my friend Tamara said, I will forever think of Copeland when I see pink cheeks! It is so powerful to think that she is filled with the Breath of Life! Thank you God for giving this sweet family joy today! You are so faithful to answer our prayers. I will continue to pray for you tonight as you rest in Him.

awesome. God is so good. I had a thought... would gentle massage help her blood circulation etc? I know it's not actually a circulation problem that is causing the blue spells, but perhaps keeping a good amount of blood to her organs would greatly enhance their working ability. I pray another peaceful night for you all.

Boothe, i don't want to offend you with any comments so i try to phrase them gently. Being a mom of a T18 baby, one thing is sure is that their immune system is weak. I remember them telling me that we are coming upon the RSV season.Annabel did recieve the vaccine for 2 years now. Since our babies are more frail than others I didn't know if you had thought about that virus being out there. I don't want to sound like a know it all, but, they are just more suseptible to lil germs. She is so beautiful and Sellers looks so proud. i pray you and Conor get that rest you so need, so you can continue with God to sustain that precious Angel. We are praying!!!!

Your precious daughter is a WARRIOR! I am convinced that she is fighting so hard because she is determined to touch as many hearts for Christ as she can. What a blessing she is - I can just imagine her beautiful blush!

I will continue to pray vigilantly for all of you. Please give the girls a kiss for me - they are such sweet, sweet blessings!

Love you!
